Visa Announces Previn Pillay as New Country Manager for Malaysia

Visa, the world’s leader in digital payments, is pleased to announce the appointment of Previn Pillay as the new Visa Country Manager for Malaysia. Previn is a seasoned leader with the company and has 18 years of experience in leadership roles across Asia Pacific and CEMEA.
Most recently, Previn was the Head of Merchant Sales & Acquiring for Asia Pacific, where he was leading regional and local market teams who managed Visa’s strategic merchant and acquiring partnerships across the region.
Prior to that, Previn was Head of Digital Solutions for the region, and he worked with financial institutions, fintechs and merchants to deploy digital capabilities including tokenisation, contactless and urban mobility solutions. In addition to working in the Asia Pacific headquarters for Visa, Previn also spent more than 10 years in client management roles based in Australia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
